Normally I'd complain about photos like these, but this one I really like. You taken the time to pose your subjects, and waited for them to make the right expressions Composition is good too. The way it's presented makes it all come together. This is a family situation even a non box-head viewer can relate to
Ironically, anyone who considers putting their photography in snapshots has put enough thought into their pictures for them to be art, while those who don't know about the category usually belong there.

This is so cool! You said about how someone might get onto you about the categorization, but I would be well annoyed if they did. Recently I've been so sick of browsing on dA and simply finding what I personally feel to be snapshots and sketches as main submissions, as opposed to scraps.

On a more positive note, I shall comment on this lovely piece of yours! It's been well thought out, thinking of expressions to put on the boxes, and using poses to match. I personally think your box looks rather like the Lego man, Zack
